Airport Rail Link

The Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link offers faster travel times for commuters between the airport and the city Centre. The Airport Rail Link operates from 6 am – 12 am (midnight) and provides 2 transit options:

Direct Express Train

  • The Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link now provides check-in and luggage transfer services at Makkasan station where you can check-in 3 to 12 hours before your flight on your way to the airport terminus. The ride will take around 15 minutes from the City Air Terminal (Makkasan) Train Station and connects to the city’s mass transit subway system. You will have the opportunity to check-in your luggage at the City air Terminal before boarding the express train to the Suvarnabhumi International Airport. A ride costs THB 150 per person for a non-stop trip between Makksan and the airport.

City Link Train

  • The City Rail Link takes around 30 minutes to travel to the airport, making 6 stops along the way throughout the city, and linking with both the BTS Sky train and MRT Underground. The cost ranges from THB 15 – THB 45, depending on the distance travelled between the Phayathai Station and Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
